WHAT IS SHARE?
The Stormsewer & Hydrant Alert Reporting & Enforcement (SHARE) platform is designed to prevent
and protect pollution of stormdrains and theft & tampering of fire hydrants.
CORE COMPONENTS

District/area-specific markers and collars notify potential violators of restrictions, penalties, & fines.
Educating serves to both inform and deter the public from violations and unauthorized use.

ENFORCEMENT
Each marker is embedded with a unique QR code to report violations or unauthorized use.
These reports are sent for enforcement to ensure violators are penalized appropriately.

HOW IT WORKS
1. APPROVE
SHARE project is scoped for board approval.
Board approves and executes contract.
2. DESIGN
SHARE collects district boundary data & operator contact data.
SHARE produces district branded markers.
3. INSTALL
SHARE compiles hydrant and stormsewer mapping.
Markers are installed at within district.
4. MONITOR
SHARE actively monitors activity for unauthorized use reports.
Reports are submitted to operations.
5. ENFORCE
Operations receives reports of unauthorized use.
Operations assesses penalty and fines.
